Flydogs Hop-scotch

Scoring game that has to be completed incrementally, according to the zone scoring.

After each successful catch the next lowest scoring zone has to be targeted. A catch is considered successful if the dog catches the disc while it's still in flight and does so with the two forelegs inside the zone.

Three attempts are allowed for each zone. The game is over after the third unsuccessful attempt

The thrower and canine are required to be behind the throwing line with every part of his body. A throw will not count if the thrower steps on or over the throwing line before or during releases the disc. Dog could be anywhere on the field but shouldn't touch zones or their lines before the thrower releases the disc.

The thrower can be finish his round anytime, it not depends on his scores or number of throws. The winner team is which could gain the highest points with the fewest throw. In case of a tie for a place the winner team is that made their scores with better time results.

Time starts when the thrower releases the disc for the first throw. The round ended when the disc hits the ground for the third time, the catch was out of the field or the thrower decides to finish his round.

Any type of Hyperflite or Hero discs are allowed. The thrower may change the disc if it becomes unsafe but discs for change must be outside of the field, behind the throwing line and out of dog's sighting.

Size of the field:

  • Every zone is a square 3 meters on its sides
  • Distance between the first zone and thethrowing line: 3 meters
  • The whole hop-scotch is 24 meters for lenght and 6 meters for wide .
